Sustainability at AAU

The Association of Academician Unions considers social and environmental sustainability principles in its national and international activities and projects.

The Association adopts equality, inclusion, non-discrimination, respect for human rights, and the provision of a safe working environment as fundamental social standards. These principles are implemented through our institutional frameworks, including the Human Resources Policy, PSEA Policy, and Code of Conduct.

With regard to environmental sustainability, the Association promotes the efficient and responsible use of resources, reduction of unnecessary consumption and waste, use of digital methods where feasible, and consideration of environmental impacts when planning project activities. The Association also supports national and international projects, training activities, and collaborations related to the environment, sustainability, and sustainable development.
