CDHVR: Curriculum Development in Clinical Dentistry Treatment with Haptic-Based Virtual Reality Application

The CDHVR project is an Erasmus+ Higher Education initiative designed to develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for virtual reality-based dentistry education. By integrating haptic feedback technology with VR simulations, the project aims to offer dental students a safe and effective environment to practice clinical treatments.
The project team will define key learning objectives for VR-based dental education, review curriculum models across the European Union, and organize workshops to shape the final program. A new curriculum and supporting infrastructure will be established to make VR-based training more accessible in universities across the country.
Through this work, the project seeks to promote the widespread adoption of virtual reality technologies in dental faculties, bridging the gap between traditional education and emerging industry needs. The CDHVR project will deliver four major intellectual outputs over its 24-month implementation period.
