The project “Raising Quality of Youth Work by Empowering Youth Workers” is an international training course hosted in Ankara between 05–12 May 2019, bringing together youth workers from Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Romania, Portugal, Greece, Hungary, Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Türkiye.
The main aim of the project is to strengthen the capacities of youth workers in project-based youth work, enabling them to become multipliers of youth empowerment in their local communities and organizations.
To achieve this goal, the training focuses on four key development areas:
Personal development: fostering self-awareness, motivation, and leadership skills
Professional development: building competencies required in youth work and non-formal learning
Global development: understanding the long-term role and impact of youth workers
Sustainable development: encouraging long-term planning, strategic partnerships, and impactful youth initiatives
Through interactive workshops, non-formal learning methods, group activities, and international cooperation, the project contributes to building a more skilled, motivated, and visionary youth work community across Europe.
