Awareness Trainings in İzmir to Protect Children in Seasonal Agriculture

Within the scope of the “Elimination of Child Labour in Seasonal Agriculture Project” carried out in cooperation with the Directorate General of Labour of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and the International Labour Organization (ILO), we, as the Association of Academicians Union, continue our training activities across 17 provinces. In this context, between 8–11 September, we came together in İzmir with gendarmerie personnel, representatives of public institutions, village headmen, and orchard owners to conduct awareness-raising training sessions.

In the upcoming period, we will continue to organize similar training programs in other provinces covered by the project, with the aim of strengthening social awareness and fostering joint solutions to prevent child labour.
