High Interest in Our Project Closing Conference

The closing conference of the ‘Employment at Virtual and Augmented Reality Jobs’ project, carried out under the FoW grant programme in partnership between Gazi University and our Association, was held. The conference was attended by the Director General of Labour, Dr. Mehmet BAŞ, the Deputy Director General of Foreign Relations and European Union Affairs, Mr. Ersoy GÜNAY, the Vice Rector of Gazi University, Prof. Dr. Serhat Karyeyen, our Association President, Prof. Dr. İsmail Şahin, our project graduates, stakeholders, and numerous guests.

Speaking at the conference, Association President Şahin said, "The Academics Union Association played an important role in the success of this project as part of its long-standing cooperation with Gazi University. The project serves as an example of successful cooperation between civil society organisations and higher education institutions and will be a source of inspiration for larger projects in the future." He also stated that this cooperation would pave the way for new initiatives that would produce lasting solutions in the fields of education and employment.

Following the opening speeches, the project coordinator, Associate Professor Murat Dörterler, presented the project outcomes. After the conference, participants visited the job fair and applied for jobs, internships, and scholarship programmes.
