RAW Project Launched
The rapid depletion of natural resources and increasing environmental pressures have made the circular economy a key pillar of sustainable development. This model promotes resource reuse and waste reduction, enabling economic growth without harming the environment.
Within this context, the RAW – Raising Awareness on Efficient Waste Management project aims to improve knowledge and awareness of circular economy and smart waste management among trade professionals, local administrations, regional development agencies, entrepreneurs, VET teachers, trainers and mentors. The project will foster cooperation between municipalities and the business sector, supporting the transition from traditional waste practices to sustainable management models.
The project started on January 1, 2022 and will run for 24 months, with partners from Poland, Portugal, Spain, Bulgaria, Türkiye and Hungary.
